Child rapist's jail term cut to encourage paedophiles to plead guilty
Alan Parker represented Mr Wilson, from Nechells, Birmingham, who worked at the city’s Little Stars nursery and was jailed for life with a minimum term of 15 years in July last year after admitting two counts of rape, 16 counts of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, 25 counts of making indecent images of children and three of distributing such images. Graham Russell successfully defends man suspected of cigarette smuggling

A judge at the Crown Cout at Maidstone directed the jury to acquit a man accused by the Crown of being a "co-organiser" of the evasion of duty on nearly 5 million cigarettes. The direction was made following a successfully submission of no case to answer by Graham Russell after almost two weeks of prosecution evidence.
