Alan Parker appointed to be a Circuit Judge

The Queen has appointed Alan Philip Parker to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Kenneth Clarke QC MP.
The Right Honourable The Lord Judge, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has assigned him to the Midland Circuit, based at Warwickshire Justice Centre with effect from Wednesday 13 June 2012.
Alan Philip Parker, 59, will be known as His Honour Judge Alan Parker. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1978 and called to the Bar (G) in 1995. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2005 and as a Fee Paid Judge, First Tier Tribunal [Health Education & Social Care] Mental Health [2011] and as a Member of the Restricted Patients Panel [2012].
