Bill Maynard had 19 years experience in the Court Service before joining Coleridge at the beginning of 1984. Since the merger he has been in overall charge as Practice Manager. In 2001 his excellent administration was recognised by the award of ISO 9001.
The clerking team is led by Rodney Neeld. Formerly Senior Clerk of 4 Fountain Court, Rodney supervises all diary bookings and has a vast amount of experience in all areas of work. Licensing is a particular speciality. He looks after family and civil work, with assistance from Alex Brown, and is also responsible for the Silks' diaries.
David Dobson is our most experienced criminal clerk, who looks after Birmingham work, our largest and busiest court centre.
Micky Powell is very well known across the whole of the Circuit and organises diaries for some of the Midlands' busiest practitioners.
Alex Brown has worked in several chambers in Birmingham before joining Citadel. His wide experience is a great asset.
The administration team is led by Richard Cornes, with the assistance of Lee Wilson, Maureen Maloney, Rachel Wilkins and Jake Gilbert.
Richard Cornes has extensive administrative experience, having worked in a number of roles and offices in the Crown Court, prior to his joining Chambers in 2002.
The efficient accounts team is led by Carole Maynard, with the assistance of Shirley Carton.
The administration team has been strengthened by the return of Sarah Pearsall who will work in the capacity of Practice Administrator and assistant to the Practice Manager.
Our Consultant Administrator, Ray Ellison, is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years experience of managing successful businesses.
